    I download new installer, and i reinstall baidu, it is still 3.2.1.xxx
    Also built in updater doesnt dedect new version, said product up the date

    Baidu does not find it is an update yet - I'll wait until it is automatically downloaded and installed rather than installing it manually.

    It's good to see it being updated regularly.

    Everything is ok now.

    Problem is not my cache,
    i download it 2 times and hash changed 2 times.
    I dont know why.

    Finally i download it
    v3.4.1.xxx hash numbers;

    Btw; I can download right version from
    -http://download.antivirus.baidu.com/BavPro_Setup.exe- not -http://download.sd.baidu.com/BavPro_Setup_C1.exe-
    My setup exe is "BavPro_Setup.exe" not "BavPro_Setup_C1.exe"
    I tried from sd.baidu, it sent me old version with different hash code

    There seem to be some confusion online, with some sites labeling 3.4.1.29117 'final' while other say 'beta'.

    I am using it since first beta.
    It was unstable but now looks better.
    It scan my computer within 1 hours. Fast, no performance impact.
    It is fast as CIS, if you used. Also it will not scan archive files if it is more than 100mb. (default 20mb)

    I am using it with default settings. Because tweaked settings give too many FP on my computer.

    final version is coming with new modules;
    Download protection, Web browser protection, new proactive defense window, GUI changes...

    There was stability problem when its beta; I didint retest final version;

    Wow. They added a few things I see since the last beta I used. I'm hoping that development continues with this. I was starting to miss Kingsoft AV but this seems like a great option. Thanks Guest

    Only downloaded BAV for the 1st time yesterday. In going over the configuration settings, I saw no option to schedule scans, no option for file/folder exclusion. Initial full scan was 2 hrs, (without the Avira engine enabled) with (4) FPs, which I easily added to exclusion list. Also have Proactive Protection disabled (HIPS) as I have Privatefirewall onboard already with its own HIPS, don't want a conflict there. Surprisingly, AVG has been playing nicely with BAV, although I now have it disabled until next boot. 1 thing I would like to see added to BAV is email scanning. Will give another update in another week, or so.

    I attached screenshoot, You will see exclusion button.
    Avira is option for Real-time scanner. If you did full scan, avira was enabled automatically.

    There arent schedule scan option, you are right. But it will, i thing.

    Btw; Baidu HIPS working fine with SpyShelter and CIS.

    Ah, thanks guest, if it was a snake it would've bit me. I actually added the FPs to this list yesterday. Must've been a brain fart. :)

    Do they use Kaspersky engine in Baidu cloud or...?

    They are using Avira+Baidu Engine+Baidu Cloud. Some malware names is looks like Kaspersky but i dont know.

    Confusion everywhere as usual - I think that are two different setups:

    1. The one from -http://sd.baidu.com/en/
    -http://download.sd.baidu.com/BavPro_Setup_C1.exe

    2. And the second from -http://antivirus.baidu.com/en/
    -http://download.antivirus.baidu.com/BavPro_Setup.exe

    Anyone know what's the difference between those two?
