    if you are sure, yes.

    if not, run some OD scanners (HMP, MBAM, EEK, Combofix, etc...), if no infections, then allow the whitelisting.

    What I do is white list everything in Program Files and Windows folders. My logic is based on a comment by the Appguard folks saying rarely is malware downloaded into these folders. It is downloaded elsewhere and has to be installed.

    I leave the program added to the Vulnerability tab there, and also add the Java programs to that list.

    Oh and I do use appguard to guard some of the programs.

    I've got it set up and the default settings are pretty much what's been suggested. The only problem I have is when I close a sandbox which is set to auto delete I get a pop up about it and even when I add it to a white list or a command line whitelest it still comes up.

    New version will have Trused Vendors list, which is further going to decrease number of popups.

    @merisi

    Try to add this to the "WhiteList" -> "CommandLine (Wildcards)" TAB:

    C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /c rmdir /s /q "?:\*\__Delete_*"

    I'd like to ask you guys if enyone expierienced situation like mine.

    1st case - occured few times - when Windows starded, not all processes were loaded. According to the Status tab - Statistics - Monitored, Blocked and Allowed showed nothing, even though certain programs seemed to be running. Nevertheles I could neither maximize them from tray bar, nor run new processes. I wasn't even able to turn off my laptop.

    2nd case - occured two times (in a different way) - once when Windows starded, all my ERP settings were removed - there was nothing in whitelist, blacklist, even predefined vulnerable processes were removed. I decided to reinstall ERP. Another day only protected processes were deleted - but fortunately I had my exported settings.

    Any suggestions for that?

    Enable Debugging in Settings-Debug and send a log file to nvt next time it happens.
    I have never experienced something like that...

    @artoor

    1) It should be fixed in v2.7.5, the new version will be released in few days.

    2) This looks like very strange, from a quick look it may be caused by AppGuard that does not allow ERP to save its settings when it is closed or when the PC is shutdown/restarted. Try to add ERP in the power app in AppGuard.

    Thank you for your interest. I'm glad to hear that the first case should be solved in near future :)
    In the second one there is a misunderstanding, because I use AppGuard on another PC, not along with ERP. But perhaps SpyShelter blocks something. Unfortunately SS has no possibility like power apps - it only provides trust for signed processes. Anyway, when such a situation will happen, I will send you a log from this event.

    Hi artoor...first - what means in your opinion "power apps" and second - "it only provides trust for signed processes"? I don't understand you.

    Yes it is. I can't believe how fast they are developing this awesome app, and somehow, without adding additional system resources or unneeded bloat. If I've said it once, I've said it 10 times............Best $20 I have ever spent on software, and if I'm being honest, it's worth a lot more. :thumb:

    Sorry Ichito, my English isn't as clear as it should be ;) Let me put it in another way. If I used ERP along with AG, I would add ERP to "power app" (which is some particular setting in AG) - novirusthanks gave me this clue, but I don't use ERP and AG on the same computer.

    I rather meant User defined trusted signers list in General tab - I was at work and couldn't check exactly how it calls. Only now I realised that NVT ERP is signed, and I've added it to this list. Let me see if it'll help :)
    I hope I was clear now :)

    I beg to differ, it is somewhat resource hungry on Windows 8 (At least for what the program is and does). I've already addressed this and it has been said that it'll take up less memory in the next version.

    But, I would have to agree with you....best $20 I've ever spent as well.

    On my W7 x64 machine it's light as ever. No change at all from version to version.

    I hope the new version removes the unsolicited outbound network attempts and will integrate well with my system setup.

    I can't say enough nice things about the developer. Extremely responsive and helped me sort out licensing issues during my purchase. I agree with everyone's sentiments regarding the value of this software versus the price. :thumb:

    That's really odd. As I mentioned above, the 2nd case accured again. This time Protected processes list and Vulnerable processes list were cleaned. White list and other tabs are untouched. Debug file shows nothing interesting IMO. I'm waiting impatiently for the newest version... perhaps this version solves the problem :)
