Panda gets no love on Wilders anymore. :(

Love that new interface. I'll be installing on my WIN8 machine this weekend.

There will always be love for Panda as long as it uses the little panda icon in the toolbar :)

What’s the program like? We found it installed easily, without requiring other security packages to be removed first. (You may still want to do so to reduce the chance of conflicts, but it’s not necessary).

Hope that's not actually HOW they tested it...

The biggest issue of Panda (since may be 2005) is the performance. Dramatic slow down is being noticed. They seem not to care.

I don't like this interface - very colorful ... and too modern - even Microsoft's on WD is not modern at all. I don't know why some companies and products are trying to be even more Metro than Microsoft is (AVG, Panda, Norton, etc...)

I agree the GUI screams "Guess which OS I have been designed for...." Yes they could have done a better job on the UI :(

I think Panda needs to do a complete overhaul of their engine/security modules. :D

Well, they need something to be hyped about. Bet you'd be surprised that there are people who worry more about GUI instead of detection rate and functionality. :D

Then I assume you have not tried Panda since then. So... give it a try! ;)

I'm testing now. 60% done with full scan after setting everything up. They break down the RAM usage by adding multiple processes.

I gave up on using PIS on my workstation because of instability of Panda services, and because of how hideously slow and inconsistent the web protection proxy was. Sometimes it would be really fast, other times it would slow browsing to the point that my browser wouldn't pass traffic for minutes at a time.

I also wasn't a fan of the lack of panda process detection - lots of the product's protection components could be killed from taskmgr. I don't know if that's changed in the last 18 mos, but it wasn't confidence inspiring.

As a positive though, I had a generall positive support experience with the folks from corporate (i'm assuming in EU/Spain). Not very many good experiences with their USA-based people.

That being said, I like the new UI and i'd be happy to try the product again.

And they were expensive . Do not know about now . I would not deal with them after Beta testing for them and they offered me a license at half off;m nthat brought the price down to about the average of everyone else . I considered that a slap in the face .
