Since a couple of days I am testing AirVPN in comparison with VPN4ALL.

As my subscription with VPN4ALL is going to expire within some weeks, I wanted to try some possible alternatives.

Here my brief feedback on both services. Obviously it has to be taken into account that while I use VPN4ALL since some months, I am just enjoying AirVPN for 3 days, thanks to their free trial.

    VPN4ALL features:

    -Off Shore
    -No logs
-Good server coverage in EU/North America
    -Very stable
    -Client very easy to use
-Good support (even if I never had serious issues, they were quick to reply)

    AirVPN features:

    -No logs
-Very good server coverage and easier than VPN4ALL to see server load
-Excellent support (thanks to the forum but also they replied quickly)
-Client easy to use but requires admin access to be run (not needed in
    VPN4ALL)
-More possibilities to set custom configurations (ports, etc.)
    -No traffic limit
-All servers allow P2P connection (only some with VPN4ALL, however I never
use P2P thus I cannot provide any review on this).
-Possible to pay with LibertyReserve or Bitcoin (not possible with VPN4ALL)

    Other notes:
Speed is more or less the same, at least the servers I checked.
According to DNS Leaks test, no leaks with both of them.

My preliminary conclusion is that I might switch to AirVPN but maybe I will give also Boleh a try, since I like that they are not EU based.

Why don't you like VPNs that are EU based o_O?

I must admit I do not have any real reason for that, rather than because I live in EU I might think that an off-shore provider could be safer.
But, as I said, it's just speculation.

I would give BolehVPN a try, as they have a (3-Day) account option which costs almost nothing. BolehVPN is the most support friendly VPN. They even created a new server just because my request for one as they were lacking a TCP EU server. I think that's the greatest part of BolehVPN. Then after the tree days with each you can make an educated choice. :thumb:

I've been using AirVPN for a few weeks now and it works pretty well. I was used to Mullvad where I could use the VPN simultaneously on multiple machines but that's no longer possible with AirVPN. Other thant that, stability is good and price is very low when you pay with bitcoin.

My VPN4ALL subscription is expiring soon as well. So far I have been quite happy with them, but sometimes have a hard time connecting especially in airport clubs... Has anyone tried AirVPN at Starbucks, airports, hotels etc...?

I tried only a couple of times with success.

Yesterday I noticed a slower download speed with airVPN when compared to vpn4all.
But not sure if it was due to VPN.
