    Hi,

My Air France boarding pass window got blocked.

My government company registration gets blocked.

    Removed NOD, all work.

Most pages that get blocked are scripts from the original page. How do I fix the problem?

Here is one that got blocked. In French but video says it all

    Hello,

What message are you seeing from ESET NOD32 Antivirus when a web site gets blocked?

    Regards,

    Hi Aryeh,

If I disable HTTP checking, I can access both sites (government and Air France boarding pass)

No message, the scripts of the main page is simply blocked (won't load).

Look at the video I just finished setting up a new ROG laptop. All sites worked flawlessly. As soon as NOD was installed a got a bunch of sites blocked (won't open).

    Removed NOD, they work.

    Please look at video.

    Thanks.

I was able to reproduce it and created the logs needed for further debugging. When we have some news we'll let you know.

Edit: a quick workaround is to switch IE to Active mode in the Web access protection setup.

Hi Marcos, really appreciated. I have a bunch of sites that act the same way. It seems it happen if it opens a smaller page from a script.

I will workaround with your suggestion.

    Thanks.

Active mode may be safer under certain circumstances. However, it may cause issues for certain download managers or streaming media players.

    Hello,

What versions are affected - all or just v6 (let's say) ?

Could you elaborate - switch to Active or Passive mode ? I guess Passive because it makes no sense to me to switch to Active which could cause more problems with some browsers, downloaders, etc.

    I'm using V6

Workaround is open Advanced setup, Web & Email, Web Access protection, active mode check both IE boxes.

This needs to be addressed in an Internet protection module update. Module updates are released in several week or month intervals as they need to be carefully tested before they are put on pre-release servers. Then it takes other few weeks for sensitive modules like this one to be released for the rest of users who update from regular servers.
Doesn't it work for you with the workaround provided, ie. switching your browser to active mode? You can also exclude this particular website from protocol filtering as an interim solution.

I'm getting a lot of pages that just don't load. I'm not sur what's going on but I don't want to uninstall NOD again.

    Thanks for your input.

    I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused.

Beta 7 and I can't get six from blocking a bunch of sites.

    Hi,

I must say that I am very disappointed with Eset.

I have supported this software for many years and must say that I have never really had any issues except for this one where i seem to feel abandoned.

I even opened a ticket. I have been checking here for the past few months and all I have seen is nothing.

How can you test a beta when the actual version has flaws.

I hope that someone at Eset will get their act together.

Each issue is receives a priority based on the prevalence and severity. It's up to the engineers and managers to decide which issues will be fixed with priority in the next module update. Since updates of modules more prone to cause issues on various system configurations are released every 2-3 months after in-depth testing, this issue could not be fixed by a module update yet.

    Hi
The word ETA stands for Estimated time of arrival, and is often see in the context with the release of a new version.

    Regards, Janus :))

At the moment I can't tell any ETA as it's weekend. I'll try to update you on this next week.

Wow, now that was a smart answer. So you noticed that I can't count. Good for you. Maybe you can check to see if I can't spell either since you have so much time on your hands.

So OK math teacher, let's say almost 4 months. Do you think it makes it any less ridiculous?

Oh yeah, OK I noticed you sell them. Knocking off a customer will certainly boost your sales.

Instead of teaching math, why don't you give a fix?

I sur won't buy anything from you
