I can see there are users who still use this version, I want it to, but I don't where to download it, I don't want to pick up a virus on some dangerous website, while I download.

    Uncheck the AV box then.

Appropriate thread I think because I still have yet to find a single working link to Comodo FW 5.12 x64 anywhere.

Finally fitted Comodo 5.12 into windows 8.0 64bytes after some jockeying with it. In Windows 8.0 services list there's a setting that says "automatic delayed start", which was just enough to allow silly Metro UI to run first and not blank the screen like before when it conflicted with Comodo, or vice versa.

All that's left is to pinpoint down whether cmdguard, cmdagent, and cmdhlp drivers can auto load or which ones have to be manual to initiate so as to avoid the blank screen every reboot caused by some distorted mismatch of signal between these drivers and windows 8.

But at least it's working fine now even if it's a on-demand process. Comodo 5.12 for me is the closest i can find to granular control classical HIPS and most reliable for various junction point monitoring so far.

Until and/or unless some new talented developer can step up with a newer invention of this wheel.
