wmedia player does not recognize burner

    Tried tips on google nothing worked.OS XP had wm player 11 switched back to10. Any help greatly appreciated. Have other apps but but find wmp more convient at times.Thanks

    does not recognize the drive or the software?

    I've found the fixit center to provide help related to your issue in the past. I uninstalled iTunes and my computer would not recognize the drive but some fixit download solved the problem.

    Thanks acr1965 that was great experience.It claimed my drive was incapable of burning which is not true.Have you got anything else?

    Out of curiousity, what is the model of your cd/dvd drive?

    I don't know what happened. Tried ms 11 again and it worked .
