    Dear Eset :)

Just something that puzzled me regarding Eset Social Media Scanner. But how can it be, that it is not to be found in Windows 8 app store? When you have a great product , why do not go for maximum exposure?

    Regards, Janus

    Hey Marcos

Thanks Marcos for answering, but my main thought was only, why not under the section, Security in windows store, or under social, expose your product and direct those of interest, to this link: http://www.eset.com/social-media-sc...ium=titlepage&campaign=ESMS-free-facebook-app. If you go to windows store and for example press on Kaspersky, then you will be shown a site that only inform about the product. You have to click there hyperlink to go to the site where you can download/buy the product. Why can you/Eset not do the same? Is it not possible/okay in windows store, to direct the user to a not a standalone app. Or has windows 8 some policy regarding this.

    Regards, Janus :))

    Hi Janus,

The ESET Social Media Scanner is not an application that you install on your computer, which explains why it is not in the Windows 8 Application store.

Rather, it's a Facebook Application that you install on your Facebook profile.
