I actually just got done removing CIS6 and K9 web protection from my family members computers because K9 "Crapped out" and blocked every website a family member would visit. This is a problem that has been off and on for the past 3 months and honestly? I got tired of dealing with it, so back to avast for them! :D

Well, you can choose different categories to be blocked.
Maybe you left them on default?
I personally uncheck all except spyware/malware.

No, it wasn't that. I had them all set for spyware/malware/phishing. It wasn't that, it was like the servers (if k9 uses serves, not sure) went down and it just wouldn't allow internet access. That wasn't the first time it had done that it was the third time.

Never used k-9 myself but from what i can gather you need some form of server based password to uninstall and if they cannot send you one via email etc then uninstalling may become a problem. The comments section over at CNET will perhaps explain more.

Guys,please....we all know Comodo wasnt bad earlier neither it is now.It has always been great for those who want to really give a 'tight' protection like me though I dont use it.I used to use it in the past but removed it because of some conflict with my apps and now I am considering to make a switch from Avast to CIS.

In my 100% opinion and recommendations list,CIS is still a great free and a respectable app which like any other AV company like avast, avira etc deserves equal respect and like many others even it has flaws :)

    Just My 2 cents.

    Thanks!

I don't known if its as tight as it was before in the golden 2.x and 3.x version and it seems comodo does not respect your privacy as much -http://koukishinneko.com/all-your-data-belong-to-us/-

I tried CIS 3 it was something unbearable for my PC. I was so impressed that I missed CIS 4.
