I've updated Zemana Antilogger to 1.9.3.156, but my Windows 8 is still unprotected.

    Same problem here, Win8 x64.
It does encrypt keystrokes when you write outside the simulation window, but there's no alerts.

I don't have this problem. Win 8 Pro 64 bit. Of course, I'm using the free version. Works great...either Sandboxie enabled or disabled. I have to uncheck the top box in key_sim.exe or nothing shows up from the keyboard while Sandboxie is active.

    Later...

I just ran the keylogger and clipboard tests.
MBAM stopped and quarantined the keylogger and clipboard simulations before Zemana could react.
With MBAM disabled, Zemana caught the keylogger and clipboard simulations.
No webcam test- I don't have one.

    Running 32 bit XP/SP-2.

This only happens in 64bit and retail versions. They are aware of the problem and looking into it

I have Win7 64bit and Zemana 1.9.3.444 alerts to all three of Zemana's own tests on it's default settings.
It also alerts to all the SpyShelter AntiTest tests with the exception of the screen logger but my Outpost Firewall v8 stops that (and all the others) :thumb:
So, it seems Zemana is slowly getting it's 64bit protection together with the exception of Win8.

The latest version of Zemana 1.9.3.448 stops all the Spyshelter test modules on my machine running Windows 7 64bit at Zemana's default settings including the screen logger so this looks to be a specific Windows 8 issue

Hi, do you mean that BF allowed the tests to run, but TM didn't ?

Yes Bitdefender allowed all tests to run and gave no warning at all, also tried the 2014 beta and that did the same.Trend blocked all the tests .Because these are just tests and not harmless it might be ok for Bitdefender to not block, but dont know

IT IS NOT OK for Bitdefender to fail any tests.
It does not matter if it's a harmless test or a true Trojan virus.

The same thing is about Zemana's paid version for Windows 8 64-bit.
    No excuses.

Please do NOT take this the wrong way, but in the past i have seen people try & run such tests, incorrectly !

If an App allows the tests to run, but gave no warnings, it "could" be due to these.

1 - App knows about them & deems them safe tests.

2 - App doesn't know about them, but is not designed to prevent them.

3 - App knows about them but mistakenly deems them potentially unsafe.

Also if an App blocks them from running, you havn't actually tested your defences at all ! You need to allow them to run, & see what, if anything gets detected. I'm not sure whether you did that ?

    Regards

No they run ,with no detection,as i said i dont know if its ok ,but i sent a detailed report because the beta didnt detect anything wrong so i will report when i get an answer from them.also i got a detection from the beta on the full scan that i didnt get with the free version ,and this was sent through the beta process ,so i am interested if this was false because it could not be cleaned and i sent to to support
I think that the program is deemed safe because i ran the simulator and it was named and deemed safe by Kaspersky.
I have a separate detection of something alse which i think is false, that i have sent to Bitdefender in their beta

The files are digitally signed so Bitdefender will not detect

i think they dont try to stop it via hips. They added Zemana keystroke encryption since March 06, 2013. They can stop keylogging activity without alert. i cant say it is better way but it is working.
Clipboard logger, Screenlogger protection still nonfunctional.

    it is normal; it is working this way, only active window can access keystrokes. So if keylogger test active, it can access keystrokes. From faq;

+ What approach you use for blocking keyloggers?
Unlike other keystroke encryption software, we totally block other applications from receiving even the encrypted keystrokes. Only the application, which has keyboard focus, receives the keystrokes via our secure channel.

i dont think it is releated with digital signature. You can remove dig.sig and you can try again.

Yes. there are 2 software which are working fine on win8w64. (Maybe more but i dont know)Comodo 6 and Spyshelter 8.1.
CIS can block all SS/zemana test (except Zemana keylogger test) on win8x64. Also SS can protect against all of them.
i tested leak tests on win8x64 with outpost, kaspersky, baidu, privatefirewall, there isnt good result.

I think it's supposed to show an alert, keystroke encryption is just the last line of defense in case all else fails.
And as of right now, there doesn't seem to be any reason why anyone on Win8 x64 should buy the full version given it is practically the same as the free version.

Comodo at default fails this test also.
