Has the update button ever worked?

In my many years using ESET NOD32 the "check for updates" button has never found anything new. With the latest update it's been the same story. Check for updates, but nothing found. Has it worked for anyone?

6.0.308 is currently the latest version available as a program component update. After some time (probably a few weeks), the program will offer you upgrade to 6.0.314.

 

314 is available through standard download buttons ( at least Germany ) so I as well would expect to have the update button working........

 

Afaik it's normal that it can take up to a few weeks until all users can see that an update is available using the built-in updater in the GUI. As Marcos mentioned above.

But if one can't/want to wait, simply go to ESET.com (or local dist site) and download it from there, and install over the current installation or make a clean install.

 

The program component update (PCU) 6.0.314 hasn't been tested yet in all language versions so it hasn't been released and is not yet available via the "Product update" feature in gui. It usually takes a few weeks after the release of msi installers until a PCU becomes available.
