You can run WSA - it will just give you back a WSA trial key for a SafeOnline trial.

Well, I got it installed, successfully, I think. ;) ...only I don't know what the threat detection is about.

P3 is still showing in the Program folder...I thought would be removed automatically.

You can run another scan to see the most up-to-date results for what threat may have been found. Prevx.exe should be removed on reboot if it isn't removed immediately after updating - although, where did you get the build from? A 6MB prevx.exe is definitely far away from what size it should be.

After a reboot, I got information that ewido was the threat, so I allowed it.

Then it started a scan. See screenshots.

I can live with it but my experience from others has been negative, I've explained to numerous body's that it doesn't use system resources although it does look like it does - I personally would welcome the ability to switch it off so I don't have to keep explaining :argh:

It would be worth writing into our support inbox to have them fix it - I imagine not too many users still have ewido installed :)

Since I am probably the only user still finding ewido useful on my system, I don't think I'll bother writing into support.

However, I still have this folder showing up after the switch to WSA. Is Ok just to delete?

Exactly. It's annoying whenever I open the gui. It ruined the beautiful interface for me.:(

I'll look into what we can do with an option to disable it and replace it with other text.

    @Tarnak:

    Use the PrevX Uninstaller http://info.prevx.com/removaltool.asp

    Disable Prevx
    Use the tool above

Even then for me the systray icon was still present

Do a simple "Search" from Start Menu for 'prevx' : many folders and a shortcut left behind on my box

Use Regedit to search for any remnants : delete
    - uninstall left 1 reference under 'prevx' in shell command for me
    - there is another reg entry that sometimes gets left behind 'PCSI'

No doubts: there is a learning curve with change over
    Regards

FYI - the next build will indeed support a registry entry to disable the protection statistics from showing on the main UI.

Not to worry Daniel as Joe says 'support a registry entry to disable'. It'll be optional.;)

Fabulous. Webroot's process monitor is going fast, but at least Webroot's designers don't suggest as the shills for the government (also called economists) do that the way to reduce the speed of the US debt clock is to deficit spend (print money) even more.
