As expected it arrived now. It's way too aggressive. The icon is grayed with exclamation that replaced the padlock and hovering over the icon gives "No Infections Found" o_O It's really completely off ... It needs a revamp, indeed.

EDIT: Just passed a routine daily scan and the icon reverted back to green for the scan duration. After that it went back to gray with ! So if you're tired of the ugly gray and want to give your eyes a rest in seeing the green again, just run a scan :D

EDIT 2: It goes beyond PC, it gives warning also on my Android device and on the console (see below)

The sooner the license is renewed the better.

Joe, have noticed that WSA on my Android still remains on 29 days left and the console shows the warning too. Have run a scan to connect to your server but to no avail. Still 29 days :(

The change affects only the WSA closed beta license keys. Are you using the exact same license key on Android as well? It may be worth writing into support if you're seeing an issue there as the keys should respond with identical values to each platform.

Thanks Joe for the input. Reinstallation of WSA Complete on my Android device resolved the issue. Now all my WSA Complete products show the correct 394 days remaining :)

I can confirm the license has been extended too. So far so good on Windows 7, no bugs encounted. Must say I missed having WSA installed. I am yet to test on Windows XP, however (that is where most problems occured).

Yes, thank you very much Joe (and Webroot) for extending the closed beta testing license :thumb:
And thank you for constantly developing and improving this unique software, it's a pleasure to use :)

By the way, I've stopped using the beta. I'm now using the main release full-time.

 How did you manage to do that, TonyW?! :D

I guess I couldn't run right now something with version number below v8.0.2.120 ... that would feel like .. being not up-to-date (horror! :D) and would not provide enough adrenaline, you know .. not being at the cutting edge of development anymore. :argh:

But don't worry Webroot over losing one beta tester, because today I installed the beta version (again) on a system of a relative I have to do maintenance work on. - Reason: I couldn't stand that they had just the normal "live" version running, version number was too low! :D

Bottom line: if you really can switch from beta to normal version without signs of withdrawal you weren't addicted in the first place or you are miraculously healed now! ;) - Whatever .. congrats from a hopeless update junkie who couldn't do what you just did! :D

I just felt no more need to continue beta testing the product. I hardly came across any issues with it, and it is some time since I last contacted Support with an issue. My best support to Webroot right now is with a paid licence, which I purchased last November during the Black Friday deal.

    LOL:D hehehe....
Don't forget Joe that i'm French.... so arrogant, boastful etc..:doubt:;).
But the number i gave is true!
Contrary to my European fellow, Mat, i don't like to add zeros. I prefer the other one to do so when sending me banking checks for example :)))

    Cheers,
    Herve

I truly have over 2000 days as I bought some Complete licenses during the 50% off during the Christmas special and the extra year from the Beta that Joe and Webroot gave us so I guess I'm not going anywhere. :p

Since 2013 is already almost over :D ... at which part or month of this year can we expect the 2014 version to arrive? *puppy*

    @ Triple Helix:

That's really great! :thumb: This way Webroot can't abandon Secure Anywhere anytime soon, because you know .. you have a valid license until 2019 and therefore they HAVE to stay in business! :D

I would maybe do the same (as I doubt I will ever switch AV again) but unfortunately MS newest (P)OS makes me very unsure if I will even use Redmond's software in far future. :gack: And so far I didn't hear anything about a Linux version of WSA, Apple is a no-go btw. ;) - So 389 days are really fine for me, no jealousy here! :D
