This seems to be a IE9 and IE10 issue. The more testing we can do the more certain we can be... Someone with Vista and IE9 perhaps?

I have shared this info with the Official Mods. Hopefully they can replicate this too. I should have a reply tomorrow. Thanks for the help so far :)

    Hmm,

Panda detect files on the server in the format:
MD5, SHA1 or what other format?

    Hi Robin,

Currently the problem is being replicated and developers are working on a solution. It will be some time before you hear an update from us on the matter but Panda will have a fix soon.

Would the user get a warning if the connection to the cloud has been interrupted? :doubt:

On the GUI > Main screen > bottom right corner > little blue icon > Connection settings
You click on it and it tells you if you are correcly connected to the internet. Or not.

I think that the icon will look like this if something is wrong...

As far as I know the icon only gets a red X if you manually disable the AV protection. It's no indicator for the cloud connection ... :ouch:

Please Panda, let us have the icon turning red for example, if there is no connection to the cloud.
Or is it so that the only time I have connection to the cloud is when it synchronizes?

Panda synchronizes for the purpose of the offline cache. Panda Cloud is still functional when not connected to the internet and capable of detecting that common trojan sitting in your back seat.

In that image attachment I did notice you had no connection by looking at the little internet icon with the caution sign beside it. :) If I had a wireless connection then so does Panda.

Gave this a try again, not sure what magic was worked here. But the extreme I/O I was seeing previously with Panda Cloud seems to be under control finally.
