Beijing orders its propaganda workers to get microblogging

    i'm sure it happens on u.s. forums too. not too difficult to hire 1000 people to monitor and comment in the top 100 or 200 forums and try to project a "pro- the current gov't" feeling where there is none. i noticed this especially on survivalist and hunt + fish type forums where you would expect the ratio to be far more in favor of a conservative viewpoint. i think there is usually a tipping point where the current regime falls out of favor and the politicians and their hacks try to avoid the anger and discontent reaching that level.

    The fact that China has online propaganda workers and uses them is essentialy non-news. It's something normal for China and their regime.

    Assume all posters on controversial youtube videos are undercover cops or propaganda posters if you want to stay safe.

    Why would I care if a YouTube poster is an undercover cop? Ok, if he is a propagandist, I would need to check other sources and use the brain to discern the facts. But why an undercover cop would be a problem? o_O
