    Hi mantra

Yes you can, just either untick, uncheck or unselect, :D , [first column] Square green check rule filter box of the program in question.

Have a quick look at the Help file [bottom right corner of L'n'S] under Application Filtering Page.

    Take Care

Options > Advanced options and check Advanced mode.

Then at Aplication filtering tab grant permission for specific application to connect to Internet (green circle in second column) and to start another application (green arrows third column). And of course, make sure the rule for that application is active (checked green in the first column).

Maybe the problem is that some other application launches firefox (windows explorer, for example) and that application doesn't have permission to launches applications which connect to the internet (third column in application filtering tab).

With this setting Firefox are allowed to connect to any remote port.
Coresponding internet filtering rule for applications that are allowed to connect to internet is TCP : Authorize most common Internet services.

Some aplications may require aditional rules (Internet filtering rules) to allow incoming TCP or UDP connections at specific port(s).
For uTorrent you should create specific internet filtering rules and bind this rules to uTorrent application. There is already a couple of posts about it.

For most applications (e.g. Firefox) simple allow is enough. If you need rules for specific applications (mostly which require incoming connections to specific port like p2p or torrent clients), then, this forum have enough examples how to do that.
