I am completely frustrated with SAS. Three days ago I wrote support explaining that I had done a Windows reinstall and had forgotten to transfer my SAS license. I requested a reset. I then found myself in a meaningless auto-loop. The messages were all the same. "Please provide as much detail as possible about your issue so that we may assist you promptly. Allow up to 24 hours for our team to reply to your new message. You will be notified by e-mail when the status of your ticket is updated. You can cancel this customer support request by clicking the "Close Ticket" button below." In response I repeated what I had written initially and in various ways. All to no avail. The loop continues. What else can I do? I wrote Nick yesterday and have heard nothing o_O

Toss SAS into the trash bin, it's almost useless and support is hideous.. They also 'randomly' kill keys, and if you reinstall/snapshot you are dead in the water after a few times with this product.

Their only response with my dead key is "This isn't a valid key", well no kidding, it was valid when I purchased the lifetime, but you guys killed it.. The response again was "Sorry this key is not valid".

Useless product, crap support, hideous key management. Start running chargebacks on your credit card, make them pay some CB fees and they might start being a real company. Until then warn everyone away from it.

I have a lifetime subscription. However, I think that MBAM is far superior, and only use SAS once in a while to scan, and MBAM is always running.
If I did not have a lifetime license I would not use it.

I understand your frustration. If you have had your SAS licence for a while as I have, I would just say "I got my moneys worth" and move on to a product that will actually be worth the CPU cycles it takes up.

My personal choice was Appguard. It replaced SAS on my wife's PC and I couldn't be happier with it.

I hope you find a satisfactory resolution to your problem.

  6. SAS was good about 5 years ago....But now it's pretty much rubbish as other posters have said.

I was given a complimentary license from Nick when he first started posting here but don't use realtime antimalware although I did test SAS and retrieved the license code here :

    Auto Retrieve Registration Code

I second that, I recommend HitmanPro or MBAM instead of SAS. ;)
