    Greetings, first let me say that I have been lurking on this forum for a while, and I have read and re-read all the vpn threads over the last several months. I appreciate all the info and expertise being offered here.

    For a truly private, non-logging VPN I have already been using Mullvad (thanks to the many posters here for the tip) and I'm satisfied. However I want to use a second vpn for certain activities where top notch privacy is not the main criteria. I feel that the users here have a ton of experience with many vpn's and can help suggest some options. So, here goes.

    I want a VPN that:

    * has fast, reliable servers in Spain (watching Spanish TV from the US is a priority)
    * has fast, reliable servers in the US (where I live)
    * uses OpenVPN
    * can use OpenVPN on my Android phone
    * not too much money (<$15/month or so)

    I basically want to use this vpn for two things: to unblock Spanish TV so I can watch it from the US, and to secure my internet browsing when I find myself in a hotel, coffee shop or other place, both in the US and Spain (and the rest of Europe) where I travel with regularity.
    I will not be torrenting or doing anything remotely objectionable or risky. Therefore I don't care about being logged, or traceable. I will pay with Paypal or a credit card. I just need a secure, reliable, speedy connection for these purposes.

    After looking around, I recently gave IPVanish a spin, but found that two of their three "Madrid" servers actually showed as being in the Netherlands, and therefore were useless to view Spanish TV, blocked by the websites I wanted to access. This geolocation issue seems to be a problem for many of their servers, I saw after reading through their forums. I cancelled and received a refund.

    Other VPNs that appear to have a presence in Spain are Hide my ass, ibVPN, VPN4ALL, StrongVPN, Overplay, Boxpn, Astrill.

    All suggestions are appreciated! Thank you in advance-

    You might want to try VersaVPN. They have OpenVPN servers in both Spain and the U.S. for under $15 USD/month and are compatible with Android.

    Here are a couple of other providers that may meet your criteria as well:

    GhostPath has a couple of servers in Spain and around 12 servers in the US, including other 30 different countries for the same price.

    I am currently using VPN4All myself, they have one server in Spain and it doesn't work to play movies in Wuaki.tv (restricted to Spanish IP), some sites believe the server is in France.

    Thanks for your input, everyone, and box750, I'm a big fan of your site. Is there any reason why you like GhostPath over say Witopia or Astrill? They strike me as similar companies, and I'm wondering if you have any first hand experience with them. Thanks too for the heads up on VPN4All.

    I have no experience with them, they are a new company and might not be very good for all I know. Just another possible choice, I never said I like them more over other companies.
