I hope they honor them. I bought 11 licenses. 1 for me to review the product and 10 to give away on my website.

What do you mean "They fixed it now"

In the last 5 minutes I purchased 10 keys for $1.30 using PayPal. I have the keys. I am in the US.

I am not in the US and it shows it at 5 euros... "new year sale"... So this can't be a mistake.

As usual, people in different countries get different treatment.

You can still deal with these things by getting a free VPN such as SecurityKiss and using it for just such circumstances.

Yeah, it's the usual story of "US residents only"... Practically, for me, it would be 500 euros for 100 keys. :D

Although honestly 5 euros for 1 license is still a bargain. But i don't like suites and currently i run AV-less too, so no need to get into trouble to go through VPN.

I think they honor the keys too. The site lists a "new years sale" and the keys are 13 cents, I'm assuming to recognize 2013. So there is some reason to believe this is a purposeful sale as opposed to a computer glitch. They could have just given licenses away for a week in honor of 2013 but instead they chose to sell them for 13 cents each and possibly get some re-bills in a year. Makes sense to me.

BTW- if you make multiple purchases you should make sure you have auto-renew disabled for EACH purchase, otherwise you may be auto-renewed for purchase #2 even though you disabled for purchase #1. A 100 license purchase would mean about a $5000 withdrawal from your checking account in a year. God knows if you would ever get that back if there were some mistake.

    Deal is dead.

But with so many free, or nearly free deals lately, it's not really much that I missed, as I don't really like BD too much. Might have been nice to pick them up for clients, but PandaCloudPro works just fine.

It worked for me a couple of hours ago. If it makes a difference, I was registered with BitDefender with the e-mail address used to buy the licenses.

    Absolutely, and that includes Wilders:

USA only offers like this one use to be allowed here, the rest use to be deleted.

I've not started registering keys yet. But when I do, does BD registration require association with the email I have with my account? In other words, if I give keys away will the person registering the key have to use my email address for any reason or can they register independent of any of my info?

Hey guys, A follow up to my issue earlier,
I tried to buy 100 keys in AUD, which was then charged in EURO, Which caused the problem and I only received one key for 13euro.

Anyway, I messaged bit defender about the issue so that I could receive the 99 other keys i ordered and didn't receive, I was explained to in live chat that they could refund me and then I could do as I wish with the money (EG buy more licenses) Which I did, for 13c in USD

    Today I received an email acknowledged my refund and also..;
What's going ono_O I think there has been a mistake somewhere with this deal

I'm curious to know if they actually gave out 100 product keys to people who purchased that many. If they did they will probably cancel 99 of them and only give the buyer 1 valid key.

The originally price has to have been an oversight by one of the staff there, a bit late of them to notice though.

I was charged EURO, instead of AUD.

Duradel, After receiving my refund I proceeded in buying 50 keys for 0.13c USD... They seem to work.

I think someone at Bitdefender made a mistake with the 13c keys...
"If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is"
My guess is they were meant to be $20.13 keys..

I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Don't know an answer to this, but that's the reason I havent given any of my keys away. Didn't want to give them away and then find out the person had to have all my BD account information also.

No the key isn't linked to your account. I've had 2-3 people use the keys I gave them. Once its activated you can then register yourself.
