Its been awhile since I've used it. I always felt it was sub par. Guess things have changed.

    ok thanks.
So it would be safe to assume that bitdefender is the true victor here.
If the bitdefender engine were taken out of F-secure what are you left with that could attain a high result.?

F-secure has been a fantastic product for years. it used to be quite heavy but it that is improving every year.

Using F-Secure here with no problems. A little heavy on the boot time but outside of that very happy with it.

I didn't care for NIS 2013 clean-up scores. That frankly surprised me since Norton always lead the pack in that area in previous versions.

Eset is the pits. V6 is not what it should have been. I do agree F-Secure is very good but it has sooooooooooooo many processes to run. I would choose Kaspersky before F-Secure just on this factor alone. Right now WSA is fitting the bill. The heck with tests and You-Tube porn, WSA actually may be the best thing out their since McDonalds invented McNuggets.:argh:

It is simple RR. Have you been infected while using WSA. If no, renew it, you can literally get it for nothing if you look. If you are wanted a traditional suite then get KIS. It is something very light and unobstrusive, or something light, with all the bells and whistles. Your pick.

For me, for now, it is something I just don't even think about, but works.:thumb:

Or get BitDefender Free. Very light, but with all the detection of BDAV, but maybe wait for the update that will get rid of auto-deletion of malware.

I don't really think that counts for much. I've been running no antivirus for a year and a half now and I'm not infected.

    1. AVG
    2. avast!
    3. Panda Cloud Antivirus

Looks like i'm going to replace Windows Defender with AVG looking at this :p
