You have to set the default download file from "your downloads" to "Shared Space" Found at (Vista/7) C>Program data>Shared Space. Or clicking on open shared space via Comodo widget. It should give you where share space is located on your PC.

Done it and thanks.although i would consider this a bit dangerous setting the shared space as default download location..Seems solid enough.

Your welcome:) I almost forgot: You can also make your download folder exceptions under Comodo> advanced tasks> Advance settings> Security Settings> Defense + > Sandbox > Do not Visualize access to the specified files/folders> Add files/folders.

if you change the settings while you are in a sandbox browser, you will have to reset the sandbox so the file will download right.

You can take this one step further by adding -Web Browser Data Folders- in doing so you allow downloads/bookmarks/preferences/extensions to be written to disk, as described 4 posts ago :p

I use only CIS Sandbox now but really miss one option of SBIE. It is the ability to run an automatically sandboxed program out of the sandbox. It is very convenient for updating the prog, changing its settings etc. I had to manually disable sandboxing in options for that. Maybe somebody knows how to do this in a more smarter way? I don't want to disable virtualization for any folders of sandboxed progs. And to keep them automatically sandboxed, not to run them only with virtualized links.

Gotta agree that would be handy :thumb:
I can't think of a way to achieve this in the current version, I would also like to know if this is possible.
I would like to force CD to the always run virtual but I have resisted from doing so for the reason's you stated.
    Something for the wishlist...

I know that I can. But I normally try out new extensions in a sandboxed Firefox. Before I place it permanently on Firefox (unsandboxed extension install).

I have my preferences set in the unsandboxed Firefox. But if I do change my preferences in a sandboxed Firefox secession. I redo it in an unsandboxed secession.

So I do not have the sandboxed Firefox writing on the disk.

Easy answer for me... SBIE. I'm sticking with Comodo FW/D+ 5.10 so that I can continue to use both products in perfect harmony with one another... getting exactly what I want out of both. Very light too.

    No.

Even after disabling CIS (system tray > exit), it still was impossible to see youtube videos from a sandboxed browser (Firefox). If open browser normally, no problems at all...

I was not trying to belittle you like you put. I was trying to answer your questions. I apologize if I have offended you in any way; it was not my intent.

    Thanks. ;)

May I ask how exactly you have set up Comodo FW/D+ 5.10? Thanks.
