When I first set up EMET I added ExploitShield to the protected list. Had second thoughts about that, removed it. It now runs on its own. There has been no conflicts or slowdowns. And as far as I am concerned, the Comodo firewall version I am running is the best choice to run along side of a different brand of antivirus. Again, no conflicts.

Oh I can assure you OA free or premium does not take 512mb of ram. I think 512 could be the minimum requirement of the pc. Not that OA consumes that much ram. But it would run well even if there was 512 mb of ram in a pc. I also have 1gb of ram And OA Premium runs fine here.;):thumb:

Ccleaner will erase your system restore points, create a new restore point manually after you run it. Found that out the hard way. That is why I use Opera 12.12 webrowser, it can delete dam near anything, when you go to settings/delete private data.....this way you don't need to run Ccleaner as often as you normally would.

I used Spyware Terminator "back in the day"...(which was a wednesday)....when it was only a basic spyware removal program. It has since grown, and no longer resembles what it once was. It WAS a good program, then....I think you have to be careful with conflicts nowadays, though. A lot of programs don't get along well with each other.

Why do you prefer older version than current 2.801? Is it some specific reason?

I already tried it it's ok, but still My decision is combination of Sandboxie (because it's simply much lighter) and maybe Malware Defender.
But I can't find how much resources Malware Defender consumes.

What can I say, I was so much obsessed in trying to find the right solution between security and usability with as much as less consumption of resources of ram memory with considering tons of other software programs, that I missed these Sandboxie's options, maybe I should have relaxed for 2 days and start thinking about it all over again, than I'd detect Sandboxie is actually the option to end my doubts.

I did everything you said above (I disabled all auto-runs from all removable drives, and created separate sandboxes, each for CD/DVD and each for USB, and I have restricted internet access for both sandboxes), except sandboxing Windows Explorer, I didn't know that's possible?
I thought this would cause conflicts and that you'll have to than remove Sandboxie in safe Mode if you do that?

The good thing is I have paid version of Sandboxie, so I can do pretty much everything with Sandboxie's configuration I want, however you're right about that procedure with free version of Sandboxie, I was using freebie Sandboxie, until I finally decided to buy a lifetime license for Sandboxie.

I'd also like to try Malware Defender, but I don't know how much resources does it consume.

Are you still using Sandboxie (newest version)? I read that Malware Defender has a firewall, do I need to turn off my Windows XP firewall to avoid conflicts between Malware Defender's firewall and Windows XP firewall?

Guys, I almost had a heart attack, you were talking about Malware Defender, guess what? There is a rogue antispyware program called Rogue Malware Defender!
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-strong-malware-defender

    Jeez...
From which website do you download a real Malware Defender?
I don't want to become another victim of rogue antispyware programs, I had enough bad experience with this in recent past.

Does anyone know in Malware Defender monitors outgoing connections and give me the option to allow or block them? If that's the case maybe i can remove Windows Firewall Notifier... thanks
