Hello, The technical support of my country told me to revert back to version 4.2.71.2 because of EGUI stalling at 50%. I did so but the SSL filtering is now causing some problems on some web sites. For instance for htpps://addons.mozilla.org, Firefox says the connection is not certified and asks "What must I do ?". "Get out of here" or "I understand the risk". See the picture http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/833/addonmozillassl.jpg/ Another example is for //https://eu.ixquick.com/ (well know search engine) Again another error : "THE SECURED CONNEXION FAILED" "ssl_error_rx_unexpected_change_cipher" and I must click on Retry. And the page is badly displayed. So, What to do ?
I guess it is the only solution, disable SSL http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?pag...earch&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1358195805068
No but when I visit an unknown SSL web page for the first time, now, no popup window asking me to choose if I always trust or not (unlike v5). yes, no, always, exclude. See the settings for v6.03.306.3 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/593/sslv6.jpg/ Edit : Firefox 18 - windows xp pro x64
Hello, Just to confirm, you are using the 32-bit version of Mozilla Firefox 18.0 under Microsoft Windows XP Professional 64-bit edition, is that correct? Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
If you want to be prompted about certificates (not recommended unless you experience issues), you must switch the SSL scanner to interactive mode "Ask about non-visited sites". This setting was not in your screen shot.
Inside Nod32 v6, SSL : http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/12/sslv61.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/404/sslv6.jpg/ Inside Firefox : Certifcats - Tools, Options, Advanced, Cryptography, Display the certifcates. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/541/certificatsfirefox18.jpg/ I confirm : Firefox 18, 32 bits, OS : Windows XP Pro X64
