You can disable the file rating before running a malware.

    Thanks for hints, guys.

It must be for XP? I don't have it in Win7 Ultimate. Anyway I just searched the whole disk for "Comodo"folders and included them. So I've commited with SD:

    C:\Program Files\COMODO
    C:\ProgramData\Comodo
    C:\ProgramData\Comodo Downloader
    C:\Users\~~\AppData\Local\Comodo
    C:\Users\~~\AppData\LocalLow\COMODO
    C:\Users\~~\AppData\Roaming\Comodo

Here "~~" stands for the names of all users.

And anyway the same result: CIS loses all his av database and I have to download the whole database as it was absent at all.

I must have missed something. o_O
    Any ideas?

Just FYI. If you enable the sandbox the test results will not accurately reflect your system protection. That test is really only meant to test firewalls which are strictly HIPS based. The sandbox is not tested correctly with that leak test.

    1. configuration: CIS (unimportant)

    2. HIPS:disabled

    3. BB:restricted

    4. firewall: (needless)

    5. file protection: enable the group,"Windows Sockets Interface"
(This one can replace the outbound protection of firewall.)

I am impressed and have to take back some critism on Comodo. Now running CFW with BB/Sandboxing, without D+ see https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=339661 This combines three forms of sandboxing
    - (system wide) auto sandboxing unknown like BufferZone (based on trusted publishers)
    - (selective threatgates) application sandboxing like GesWal (block + virtualise)
    - (on demand full) shortcut based full virtualisation like Sandboxie

We already had the final version so how can it be an 'RC' :doubt:
    Maybe another version instead (i.e. 6.1) o_O

Lame and sloppy work. They still haven't fixed the damn bug that i've reported during beta and complained over it aftter the release and guess what, this update still doesn't fix it. WHy they even bother running a beta test if they just plain don't give a toss about anything we reported!?

Especially since this bug makes CIS pretty much useless if you intend to run it on a system where user doesn't want interaction but i want him to see the warnings. Instead i now have to run it without any dialogs at all. Even when virus is detected you just get error that file cannot be accessed and you don't even know CIS denied that access.

Actually i used it without major problem (bsod or other major bug like kiosk froze) and still using my laptop
But it upload every unknown file to their servers again and again when full system scan,
and HIPS doesnt work when file sandboxed.
so i am not using it on my desktop

i understand you, some user disappointed with v6.
i hear many times like your words "WHy they even bother running a beta test if they just plain don't give a toss about anything we reported!?"

i reported my problem to their forum, about zemana keylogger test, Because CIS doesnt help against zemana keylogger test. But some user attack me, so i learn what is comodofanboy.

    http://forums.comodo.com/leak-testi...h/zemana-can-capture-keystrokes-t89907.0.html

i dont know developer really interest forum or collect bugs via forum. it looks doesnt.

i hope they can make CIS better with v6.1. But it is never ended story :)

I've been looking at your posts as I was in the same boat. I tried every thing including the new BoxIE beta and old versions. My browsers were starting the frame, but locking in an endless circle.

But this update helped me and now SandboxIE and Comodo CIS 6 works like pie.

I did restart after upgrading CIS and then again after installing SandboxIE.

Hopefully you get sussed. But definitely a Comodo side problem which was hard to tell as both progs upgraded around the same day and when the breakage occurred.

Comodo fanbois, haha. You did right. Just leave. The Devs will see it if required. You stayed beyond diligent.

This may help: When you use an isolated/restricted sandbox, it seems to apply prefab hips rules. So virt, restricted, partially... etc. Some of these prefab policies may include the ability to keylog eg keyboard access/memory access/file access; the info is at the Comodo help page what those restrictions do. To stop your problem, you must apply new rules to "restricted" or "isolated" sandboxes within rules. Isolated rules should be especially important if you virtualise unknown applications.

The virtualised sandbox can read all your files and upload them to WAN by default. You must kill this, IMO.

So create a "restricted"/"isolated" rule using BLOCK or may not work in "safemode." Now you are blocking everything and is effective as a BB Sandbox "block" option (read: OS policy -- "do not execute") but Comodo actually chimes in (why most do not BLOCK within the BB sanboxes)

Silly 'Modo...all devs should eat their own dog food, period.

    Hope this helps.

Are you using the new beta or 3.76? Which versions are you using that are working for you?
