Is anyone running this with Sandboxie?

Although they are said to be compatible I have found that Zemana (paid-but free license) always stops the Sandboxie driver from loading.

Did you try to allow/whitelist it manually?

I have never had any issues running Zemana (paid) with Sandboxie. :doubt:

Paid obviously based on my prior comments.

Shop around the Internet. I paid $12 US for a year license through a UK outfit. Also Zemana has run numerous free one year license promotions in the past. Doubt you will see many of those in the future since it now has a free beta version. BTW - if you use the link I previously posted, it clearly states the free version is a beta product.

From the Zemana AntiLogger Free FAQ:

"Does AntiLogger Free protect every application?

Yes. AntiLogger Free provides a system-wide defense to every application on your computer. No matter which program you're using, all of the keys you type will be securely encrypted and rendered useless in keyloggers, no matter how sophisticated the malware."

Does anyone know if it protects the Windows Login prompt as well?

Are you sure? The FAQ says:

"Is it compatible with other encryption software?

Yes. AntiLogger Free uses a different and unique approach for keystrokes, avoiding compatibility issues. However, we do not recommend using two keystroke encryption programs on the same box."

I was replying to someone who believed that Zemana Free and KeyScrambler use both the same technology. The quote from Zemana that you posted goes in the same direction.

About "encrypt" or "hide" stokes, I was trying to reflect what one can see when testing both apps with the Zemana keylogger test, not talking about their their respective technologies. My post wasn't very clear, sorry for that.

You can use the license in the .txt file on the official zemana installer, it's a 1 year license ;)

It depends if you're using the application control of KIS much, if not then it's certainly a nice product. Most of the 64 bit problems seem resolved, except on Win 8 64-bit. Their Intelliguard has been their for quite a while now, so that should work properly too(it blocks and allows known bad and good software automatically through cloud, but you can turn it off if you don't like it.)

Not needed. KIS banking mode is secure enough.

Ah yes, forgot about the new banking mode, then Zemana would be a bit overkill.

    Hi,

Is there a downside in terms of hooks placed into the OS? In terms of long-term stability?

I definitely can see Zemana being worthwhile on any problematic puter (e.g. at work others may use my system) however I am not sure about a generally reasonably well secured home system.

I like my system as light as possible, in terms of pristine OS operation.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

The Free stuff has already been integrated into the "Pro" version for Win8 as of version 1.9.3.444.

Last year I confirmed with Zemana that Free and Pro can be run concurrently and when Free is integrated into Pro for Win7, the Pro installer/updater will uninstall Free.

I've been running Zemana AL for four years on several systems with a broad range of other anti-apps, firewalls and with Free since 1.4.1.633 alongside MBAM Pro, Online Armor Premium and Bullguard AV on one system, two others with Avast 8 Free. All Win7x64.

I've been using the paid version of Zemana Antilogger for about two months.
Absolutely no glitches so far, but I have experienced a slight slowdown in page rendering.
The effect is not bothersome- MBAM Pro real-time scanner slows me down more than Z-AL. Admittedly, my computer is almost a dinosaur so any real-time scanner impacts performance.

As far as protection; I don't visit Facebook or the like, Warez, or porn sites so I can't comment about Zemanas' effectiveness with those. There have been a few occasions where I got an alert so I know it is working. MRG rates it as one of the best security applications for online banking protection but you already know that.

Overall, I like it and find it pretty much non-intrusive.
I say give it a try. Zemana offers a 15 day trial, enough to see if it provides what you are looking for.
