Secure IM?

    If you want secure (encrypted) and anonymous (IP not visible) conversation over IM what options do we have?

    Use https://crypto.cat/ along with a safe VPN and/or TOR.

    You may also want to try Pidgin Messenger. And I recommend the plugins "Pidgin-Encryption" and "Off-the-Record Messaging". And also "TorChat" if applicable.
