Yes but one cannot say that the AV (pure AV detection is bad that ain't true). You cannot compare for example AV detection of Comodo v3 and v6 (it's like we try to compare the same issue with avast! v4 and v7).
Now they work with cloud/automated analysis systems and detection of pure Comodo AV is quite well ... Just test it by yourself. Btw, I'm not speaking directly to you RejZor, but to those who still think Comodo AV is bad.

    With the little widget,
    1. Right click on CIS tray icon
    2. Go on widget
    3. Show status pane
The little panel on the left indicates you the number of apps running inside Sandbox.

Then if you press this left panel with left button of the mouse the KillSwitch will start and shows you all sandboxed staff.

It will certainly mature in time, maybe it was a little early for public release but I have confidence we will all see some nice changes over the coming months :thumb:

I agree. Comodo AV is one of the best now free or paid.

    Test it yourself & see...

I agree, Comodo and Bullguard are 2 of the toughest to infect a system when they are installed. No question about that. Both don't seem that outstanding on an already infected box.

For that, you can use CCE which is already integrated in CIS 6 ;)

CCE uses the same engine as CIS and it also cannot disinfect file infectors...

Of course it's not perfect...nothing is.
Many paid suites can not compete with CIS when it comes to protecting the system.

    looking forward to next release/s
The current version is a platform with a huge potential for all types of users,
I never dreamt the day would arrive when I no longer needed SBE, with fully virtual browsers in CIS that day has come :thumb:

Be a while before comodo is anywhere near the configurability of sandboxie but its a nice addition to comodo never the less and i hope it improves.

But for free cis is an excellent piece of software.:thumb:

    A bold statement I know  ;)
SBE is indeed very configurable :thumb:
with a few F/W rules added the protection offered is the same IMO
the web browser data groups option that can be added to the sandbox exceptions was needed, now downloads, bookmarks etc can be made persistant.

lols looks like im gona have to update comodo firewall over the new installer from the website it seems theyve put the firewall into the suit , no more seperate firewall only download , gotta select only the firewall in customize setup , funny thing is i expected it to autoupdate comodo fw with its integrated updater , but all latest updates installed i still have version 5.12 fw , lols

guess somethings changed, that wont allow commod fw to update from 5.12 to the latest from within the program, lovin the new installer gui thou and overal a more polished look , finally comodo is becoming more attention it would seem

i dream of the day where we wont need sbie anymore and have all in one program for no pay

update > i take it back , compared to 5.12 , the newer version of comodo , SUCKS!!! and im pissed off! even thou i thought this would be the one, hell it wont even retain your old settings when upgrading, had to uninstall and remove registry entries , the damn uninstaller dont even do a freakin clean uninstall , then reinstall 5.12 fw

hell i cant access regular internet with cis 6, for some reason all dns requests from my internet facing apps seem to be blocked , but no window that asks me if i want to allow certain programs to use a dns connection unlike i get with 5.12,of course i cant use my browser even thou utorrent works , why cause utorrent dont use dns requests unlike your browser to call up pages and regular programs like cis itself cant even update cause its blocking its own dns queries , fn retarded ,anyhow i used both in custom mode for the firewall and disabled hips and behaviour thing just in case , it dont have no nicely and informative options like firewall events where you can see what has been blocked and what not , and it dont have the

active network connection feature no more either , damn thought id be happy with the upgrade , looks like im gona be staying with 5.12 fw abit longer till all the features from 5.12 get implemented into 6 , did i already mention the high cpu usage for no reason , usually my programs are like using hardly anything of my cpu but with comodo internet security suite from wich ive only selected the damned firewall it makes the programs eat 6x as much, wtf is this normal , thats not good

If you wanted to keep the seetings you should have waited to the "autoupdate" from CIS 5 to 6. Usually is release a couple of weeks after a new version is released, maybe is already possible.

The DNS has nothing to do with CIS unless you have tell during the installation to use Comodo DNS. The firewall doesn't block dns requests.

Active network connection is also in CIS 6.
