If I go into safemode with networking, LOGMEIN works on the machine I am having problems with.

Thought I would mention this to see if it helps ESET/LOGMEIN determine the glitch.

Excluding the LogMeIn certificate from scanning definitely solved the issue for me. I can connect remotely to your computer via TeamViewer to check it out myself if you are willing to.

This would be acceptable to me. How do exclude the LogMeIn certificate from being scanned?

This is what I did to make LogMeIn work with SSL scanning enabled:
    - disabled SSL scanning
    - made sure no ESET root certificate is present in the Firefox CA certificate store
    - made sure no ESET root certificate is present in the system Trusted Root Certification Authorities certificate store
    - with browsers closed, enabled SSL scanning
    - switch the SSL scanner to "Ask about visited sites" (interactive) mode
    - attempted to connect via LogMeIn
    - when prompted about the certificate, I excluded it from scanning

For certificates in Firefox, look in the Encryption tab -> View certificates -> Authorities.

For the system Trusted Root Certification Authorities certificate store, open the Control center -> Internet settings (or run Inetcpl.cpl) and navigate to Content -> Certificates -> Trusted Root Certification Authorities.

I assume once I exclude it then I can switch ESS back to "Always Scan SSL Protocol"? Otherwise I will be asked about every certificate that comes through.

    EDIT:
I switch and back and I'm blocked again. This won't work. It'll drive me nuts seeing every certificate come through.

I tried this but it hangs when trying to connect to the remote PC. In the LogMeIn window, when it's trying to connect, it shows:

    LogMeIn Remote Control Client
Copyright (C) 2003-2012 LogMeIn, Inc. Patented and patents pending.
    Host reports version 2600.
    Client version 1.2.0.53.

    Connecting...
    wmms-khrtohtlgs.app57.logmein.com, port: 443

    But it never connects.

If you exclude a certificate and then switch back to "Always scan SSL protocol", you must also check the "Apply created exceptions based on certificates" box for exceptions to be applied.

Looks like this is working. However, this doesn't make sense this is happening with a site like LogMeIn.

So much for that working. Back to disconnecting again. I followed your steps, test it and was fine. This morning. Problem starts all over again.

Then it must be a different issue and not the previous one related to the ESET root certificate. Are you getting a different error now?

No error. Just get disconnected again at the last minute. You choose the PC you want to connect to and you get the screen showing the process to make the connection. And right when it looks like it's going to connect I get disconnected. If I disable the SSL I connect fine.

    DITTO FOR ME

Since it's a certificate type issue, why hasn't Eset updated it already?

ESET has nothing to do with root certificate issues of 3rd party software. A unique root certificate is generated every time SSL scanning is enabled.

If you leave the SSL scanner in the interactive mode ("Ask about non-visited sites"), does the connection drop?

SSL scanning involves a risk that other applications will not accept the ESET root certificate and thus will not communicate via SSL which is one of the main reasons why it's disabled by default.
Switching the SSL scanner to interactive mode ("Ask about non-visited sites") allows for excluding a particular certificate from filtering (e.g. to avoid issues with applications not accepting the ESET root certificate).

Do you mean that you've excluded MyTalk's certificate from filtering but it still couldn't update?
