Does anyone know what this is ??

I was running Process Explorer and noticed this momentarily when I was clicking on a highlighted service.

What the $%&^! is this o_O

Cannot quite make out what is highlighted. Is it 'My Password Manager' and something to do with Kaspersky lab not being verified?

At the bottom of my screen shot (circled) I have some kind of odd lettering appearing. You can zoom in on it by clicking the screen shot.

The happens when I 'Show the lower pane' (Ctrl + L) and click on any service when I'm in Process Explorer.

    Anyone ?

Very strange. I played with my Process Explorer, and the only thing that I ever see in the area with the chinese characters is "Refreshing handles". It only shows up for a fraction of a second when i click different processes.

Im surprised that the highlighted application says it is part of Kaspersky, but it says it can not be verified. I would look for other Kaspersky processes and see if they are verified or not.

I was using version 15.11 of Process Explorer when I got the above characters instead of 'Refreshing DLLs'.

I downloaded the latest version 15.23 and the problem has disappeared.

    Strange is right.

It looks more like a bug than an infection...
