    The entire line of antiviral products of The Ukrainian Antiviral Center (UNA for Win32) is based on antiviral kernel, whose basic advantages are:

    * fast speed;
    * reliability;
    * high sensitivity of the heuristic analyzer.

    Basic features of UNA for Win32:

    * viral data base 67763 viruses (by 09.07.2004);
    * high scanning rate;
    * archives testing (ZIP, SFX ZIP, RAR, SFX RAR, ARJ, SFX, ARJ, ACE) ;
    * mail bases testing (mail bases "The Bat", files in MIME format);
    * disk space required from 5 to 20 Mb (depending on supply program pack);
    * Compatibility with such software as 1C, Liga, data encrypting programs (PGP Disk).

    The Program Antivirus UNA is optimized for operation with Windows95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP and is a virus-polifag with the built-in functions of a disk reviser, the heuristic analyzer, tools for automatic update via Internet.

    The whole set of programs having the same name “The Ukrainian National Antivirus” is made on basis of antiviral kernel developed by the Ukrainian Antiviral Center.

    For acquaintance it is possible free download antivirus UNA (the demonstration version). Demo version of UNA for Win32 includes a limited set of separate modules:

    * Scanner-polifag with window interface containing some supplementary tools;
    * Console scanner;
    * Automatic update system;
    * Task Scheduler.

    Demo version of the program Antivirus UNA has a number of limitations:

    * Limited set of modules;
    * Limited period of operation;
    * It is impossible to cure and delete infected files (testing only);
    * Update via internet is not available.

    Waow ugly, it looks like a delphi or basic c++ software :)
    But that is not perhaps the most important feature of an antivirus...

    Actually, it looks pretty nice to me. Basic, minimalist, and to the point. Actually looks sort of like NOD32 with the graphics disabled.

    In other words, it looks like an AV should... very different from Avast. ;)

    I don't need fancy graphics like in avast (I like avast graphics though) but I prefer some kind of good graphics like in NOD32 with graphics enabled, or f-secure or AVK.

    With your arguments, the best antivirus should be a dos mode one, with only text.

    We are on windows not to have software with the look of unix ones :) (and even on unix system in x-window there are good graphics)

    Great information as usual, FF. Thanks!

    The price for the PRO version is 182 Ukranian Hryvnia, including VAT. USA purchase wouldn't have to pay VAT, I assume, but I don't know how to calculate the amount to remove.

    182 Ukraine Hryvnia = 35.18812 US Dollar

    Wow haven't seen UNICORN post for a long while.
    Your screen shot looks like a Windows System LOL
    I tried over and over to get Linux Mandrake installed on a couple different systems and never could get it right. Maybe when I was younger I would have kept trying but now when time seems so scarce, I had to give up.
    XP seems good enough for my needs right now.
