@ hayc59 I presume nothing has changed since beta. Am I right?

@ Seven64 Looks like you downloaded the wrong version.

I tried to install the new release over the beta and OP was having no part of it. This, in my experience, is new. Have for some time now simply went over existing installation. Never had an issue. Well, not in a long time. My question is: If I replace the newer config file with the one I am now using will I see everything drop into place or do I have to include other stuff, e.g. Ip Bock List?

Has anybody noticed and why the attack detection is now set to low as default instead of optimal where it used to be in the latest v8.0 o_O

PS. I'm not the only one noticed it :ninja:

Color me very impressed. This is the first time I have ever trialed an Agnitum suite, and I am very, very happy with what I've seen. I am testing on 1 machine here and it runs extremely light. Programs install quickly, open quickly, and browsing is superb. Ad blocking function works well. Only a few I have seen that it doesn't block versus ad muncher. Kudos to the developers for some really, really good coding. As stable and tight a final release as I have tested this year.

What is really new?. A new UI and that's all folks, really this is it. Has anyone spotted that fact? Agnitum is very clever, they redesigned the UI and then they put label 8 on Outpost and called it a new version. :thumbd:.

I wouldn't buy the security suite. Their anti-spyware component doesn't get updated more often than once every 2x days. Not sure about their AV.
I went go ahead and bought myself their Firewall Pro and I run it with MBAM Pro and MSE.

Took advantage of the $59 3 PC lifetime license for Outpost Internet Security Pro. It did all right in several tests, not amazingly but it did pretty good.

bought the lifetime license of the security suite as soon as I saw it in the news download of my firewall.

For years I used to pester the agnitum support for a lifetime license of the security suite as a one off case for me! but they never budged until now.

Still won't run properly for me.

Removed competitor's firewall (via Revo Uninstall), rebooted, installed Outpost, rebooted and not only does the module not load properly but it locks up computer. (XP Pro SP3.)

Had to restore an image made earlier today to get things back to normal.

It's unfortunate as I do have a license. Never have had this issue with Online Armor, Comodo or PrivateFirewall. Outpost doesn't like something on my system but it beats me as to what it is.

I don't foresee any further attempts on this machine. Perhaps a future install on a new rig at some point

Does anyone know if you can remove the 'news' window on the Security Suite? Perhaps the 'news' window only appears on the trial version?
