Some bugs in 6.0.304.6 (Rus)

Hello.

1. Cannot create ESET SysRescue from the main menu. It can be created only through Start → Programs → ESET → ESET Sysrescue.
2. Rescue CD wizard crashes when i click the “Next” button continuously fast.
3. Quintupled (EC10F8472B50DB6A51BCA8F3D25B5EFB) and triplicated (9E3C13B6556D5636B745D3E466D47467) entries in the “Computer scan” window when i choose malicious files to be cleaned.
4. If you right-click on a PIF file, ESET context menu won't appear. This affects all files in a PIF format.
5. When i right-click on a random file, select “Submit for analysis” and then click “Cancel”, the file, however, is being sent. The file submission window appears behind opened windows.

Localization.
1. Too many full stops.


2. ESET SysInspector.
2.1. “Подробности: Полное, Среднее, Основное” must be corrected to “Детализация: Полная, Средняя, Основная”. “Фильтрация: Точно, Неизвестно, Опасно” must be corrected to “Фильтрация: Безопасно, Неизвестно, Опасно”.
2.2. These lines in the “About” section must be unified.

User Guide (v6): Show protection timeout dialog — You will be prompted if this option is selected while temporarily disabling the protection from the program menu or via ESET NOD32 Antivirus > Setup section. A Time interval drop-down menu in Temporarily disable protection window represents the period of time all selected parts of protection will be disabled.
The option is absent.

- the module names will be synced
- the option for scanning pif files from the context menu has never been there before. The "issue" affects any 3rd party applications so it needs to be investigated why it happens.
- the rest is yet to be checked

 

P_R_, nothing fixed after update. Also, i have noted another errors.

1. File size is not translated (ESET Live Grid).

EAV is unable to detect installed Windows AIK.

Windows Vista SP2 (Rus, 32-bit), EAV 6.0.306.2 (Rus, 32-bit), Windows AIK (KB3AIK, Rus).

 

EAV shows incorrect information about installed Windows Vista SP2 (6.0.6002).

 

The “Quarantine” window. Cannot change column width in fullscreen.

 

Any zero-byte file has incorrect size (ESET Live Grid).

 

EAV is unable to detect Windows ADK.
