Searching for a free reader for epub and pdf e-books on my Win7 x64 notebook left me quite confused.

Any advice/recommenations would be most appreciated.

Thanks guys, but I should have mentioned that I would like a reader with which I can highlight text and then save my highlighted version. Will any ebook reader allow me to do that? :doubt:

Thanks, but I don't see where any of the ebook readers mentioned allow me to highlight selected text and then save the highlighted ebook. :doubt:

Wendi, the free Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 satisfies all of your requirements. It accomodates epub and pdf formats and allows you to highlight whatever you desire (and does much more)! ;)

Be sure that you download the Windows version ...and on that same page you will also find a 'Getting Started' download.

    Cruise,

    You are 100% correct - ADE2 is exactly what I need in a Win7 ebook reader. :D

    Thank you so much...
