Wow, just wow! A new version of RegSeeker is out for W7.

This was one of my all time apps. Try an application, don't like it, remove it then search for any reg keys left behind. I never had a problem with it using that way. Even after I started using Comodo TM, I'd still do uninstalls and RS scans then restore to before the install. I was obsessive! Here it is!

Damn, you 're right, i didn't notice. It hanged at 90% of scan on Win7x64.

As a Registry cleaner, I have used occasionally Registry First Aid. It has had Windows 7 x64 support for at least 2 years. It can be used to search for text strings in the Registry. This function is useful to locate keys introduced and left behind by a software installation, but it must be used with care.

If the installation doesn´t require reboot, I prefer to use Returnil to "uninstall" completely.
