    Eset 6 had already been officially released in Czech, Slovak and Ukrainian language and apparently now in Russian as well. It is a pity they don't give the English version more priority, but they probably hope to discover and fix serious bugs before releasing it to more people as they will probably have a lot of more users with the english versions than with the languages v6 has been released in.

    I am was just curious and testing ESS 6.0.300.4 ru and what i have to say just excellent fast and low resource good work eset waiting for english release...

    eset.ua is the right place for v6 download and it is really final ... so why this post here now ?

    Hello,

    ESET NOD32 Antivirus 6 is scheduled for release in different markets based on the needs for those markets. One thing to keep in mind is that with ESET, version upgrades are free, so if you are running 5.2, you can download and use 6.0 when it becomes available in your market.

    Why is the needs of the Non English market more than the need of the English market?

    The world language is English even the Italian peep above wants it.

    The release of the software is going on as it was scheduled. I am not typically responsible for or otherwise involved in these types of decisions so you might be better served by contacting ESET and asking someone in public relations or marketing, or maybe even the CEO's office as it's not really a technology question.

    Seriously..................how long does it take to produce an English version, the Russian and Czech versions have been out for some time. Us English speaking are beginning to feel like second class citizens :)

    I had assumed they have had an English language version of ESET all along.

    Staged release is useful to manage downloads and support requests but also to refine the product prior to general release.
    IMO the real question is how long till ESET feel v6.0 is ready for release to the English language community.
