    For those of you who use the Lockdown mode, how you do prep your computer so you can get to the point of using this feature conveniently when you're also using the password feature?

    Simply whitelist everything on your computer and then you lockdown when you want to. All safe processes allowed to run and all unknown processes are automatically denied. Malware is useless if it cannot be executed.

    Doesn't that become a rather monumental project to whitelist everything? Do you literally have to "whitelist" it, or does that automatically include "Windows Protected Process" and all "Software from the Programs File Folder" if you have those items checked?

    Is there a trial version available of the pro? I ask because pro has a lot more features than the free and really no way to evaluate them and make a decent decision. I cannot justify on my limited budget purchasing pro without a trial first. Also I saw where 2.7.1 pro version was Win 8 x64 ready. Does this mean the free version on the site (2.7.0) is not ready for Win 8 x64 yet?

    Got a question. Should I whitelist sandboxie processes? I mean malware could build up during sandboxed browsing inside sandbox, take hold of sbie processes?.....:doubt:

    Isn't the whole idea about sandboxie that all the malware gathered that way is kept in the sandbox and can't escape and do damage to the system ? So for malware to do damage to the sbie process it could have gotten in the system via another way then via the Sandbox. In that case it would be (in my opinion) a good idea to whitelist sandboxie processes.

    @puff-m-d

    Windows 8 support has been added to the upcoming version v2.7.1

    @wallpapers

    That issue is fixed in v2.7.1, thank you for reporting the problem.

    @all

    We had to fix few issues with Windows 8 x86 and setup the SSL in the server (all done now). Also we are preparing the new activation codes that we have to send to all actual customers, this is taking few time. If all goes well, in few hours or max tomorrow we'll release the new version officially.
