Hi, what is the best virtualization for SSD now?

Shadow Defence is not compatiable with SSD, anyone can recommend SSD compatiable virtualization software please?

diskshot supposedly gives same protection as SD, but we gotta wait for version 4.0 which will be the earliest version in english

 

I remember a program that was mentioned on Wilders some time ago. It's called Bitdisk from a german Company. When someone asked wether it was compatible with SSD's the developer answered that it didn't matter if used with SSD or HDD. It will protect the harddisk...

 

You can take a look at EWF and FBWF, which are the components of Windows Embedded Standard 7. They are the 'native' virtualization of microsoft and support SSD.

 

Have you tried the latest version of Shadow Defender released just a few days ago (v1.2.0.346)? It's working great for me!

Faraonics Deep Freeze annual license ($33.50) insures that the company will update the program as needed and will be in continual development. So much software goes away and dies because they sold lifetime licenses and once they're sold to the targeted base - they're sold. Where's the income stream to continue development? The Faronics business model is professional, and in everything they do - it shows. Best money I spend on my computer. Period.

In my very humble opinion it think faronics is very capable of using a pricing model like sandboxie. Reasonable prize and a one time purchase for all the pc's the person owns in the same household this includes updates and upgrades, providing the user isn't a business user.
Business users must pay per seat. (Or you could even ask yearly based prize).

Or do it like Horizon datasys, give the option to the user to take a subscription (a yearly based fee, that ensures that they get the upgrades).
And if the user opts-out of the yearly based fee they can still use the current version for the "life-time" and if the user finds it necessary he/she can purchase for a full prize a major upgrade version.

I do understand that it can be beneficial for continual product development to have a way for prolonged income but it can be done in a friendlier way than faronics does now. (again in my very humble opinion).
