    Hello guys.
I am having a problem with my Eset mail security.
I am running version 4.2.10025.0 on an SBS 2010 server.
Today I got an error that the mailboxes exceeded the license. So I deleted on mail box and now the total number of mailboxes is 10 exactly as my license.
The thing is that the protection Status is still has a warning that the "Mail Server antivirus Protection is disabled". I cannot enable it in advanced setting because it is grayed...

On the Set Up tab I am getting the indication that mail server protection in both antivirus and antispam protection is "Non-Functional".

    Any clue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings!

I have just purchased and installed this software myself, so the terms are fresh in my mind. Once you reach the allocated license number, you have 42 days to reconcile to the new amount.

That said - you deleted the number of users to make it "good" in your eyes, but if memory serves, it requires ESET intervention to either issue new licenses or reset/make adjustments to your licensure. I feel that once you "trigger" that golden number, you may well be SOL. for your sake (and my own) I hope that is not the case.

Once you get back to the land of the living, perhaps you can help ME fine tune this monster that takes down my Exchange server 2010 several times a day. We're getting hammered with CPU consumption and I am not sure yet where to make adjustments to alleviate the processes.

Wish you well - and post back when you find out about the license cap. Again, 42 days to reconcile - and their promise was that you would still be protected, but simply had to acquire more licenses...I am curious how this plays out.

    Best!

    Hello,

To rectify a licenses deficiency, have a look at this page.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,

Click the blue links and try "enabling" it.

Both options are grayed in the advanced Tree setup.
