What is your security setup these days?

I've heard many good things about Comodo Firewall but I don't want a program that I have to interact with every time I turn around. Set it and forget it are my type of programs.

 

then you need some thing like appguard which is anti-executable type of security

Had to revert back to my old setup( thanks to Paragon Compact)

Even though Bitdefender was quite light at "idle" system,
Complete system scan with BDAV(max settings, scan inside archives) made my system unusable, simple tasks like opening Cdisplay to read a comic or opening Google chrome browser had a lag of 1 minute upwards!

and the scan continued for more than 3 hours. It would have taken another hour if i had not decided that it was quite enough.

Disabling the "Defense+" in Comodo seemed to have some positive effect but wasn't quite enough. and i always trust Comodo Defense+ more than any other HIPS so it was another negative
Even though theoretically BDAV consumed the same amount of resources as my previous setup(according to Task Manager) the system was rendered unusable for the entire time.

so here i am back to my tried and tested "old" setup.
running Maxed out scans with Avira, reading Comics and surfing the web and even playing Mark of The Ninja and Sine Mora while the scan was on.
No lags, no decrease in system usability or performance.
The whole scan took 1 hour 25 minutes. EAM scanned next in 40 minutes.

 

Just discovered that WSA-C has a password manager. Took me a few minutes to export/import passwords, but now for the first time in a couple of years LastPass isn't in my Wilders signature. Guess I'm sort of still using it though, it's the manager that Webroot has adapted for Complete.

Yeah you're still using LastPass as password manager in WSA-C is just a re-branded LastPass.

I've been running Windows 8 for a while now (ever since the Consumer Preview), and now have the retail version. I don't have any other security programs at all!

I wonder if mine is the least safe pc here
