He means SAS is great for finding cookies and useless for everything else. I'm just helping with the translation folks. :)

I wonder when MBAM and HMP will be useless. Probably not until everyone has an AI on their computer monitoring for threats with a semi-sentience.

Again I'm left to wonder if vendors might be the ones holding things back.

There are quite a few (new) less known programs on the banking test:
    Aplin Software Neo’s SafeKeys
    Global Information Technology PrivacyKeyboard
    Quarri Protect On Q
    SentryBay DataProtection Suite
    StrikeForce GuardedID
    Threatmetrix TrustDefender

    On the report:

Looks like the results on the blog page are being manipulated to only show results for a portion of the malware being tested against. The MRG main test page shows the results for all malware tested against for each vendor. The blog appears to be misleading.

The blog shows single test results, the graphs on the main page show the average of all flash tests.

I wonder if we're waiting on just one particular vendor or if there are more delaying the report.

Most of these are Enterprise products.

Protect On Q for example uses an isolated proprietary browser for all financial connections. Can't get more secure than that.

It looks as though the latest banking report "should" be released today.
The blog has now been rewritten and the original list of tested security apps has gone

    http://www.blog.mrg-effitas.com/

    Fingers crossed :D

The report is now available. Similar results to some of the previous tests. Quarri Protect On Q, Defensewall, Trusteer Rapport, Avast and Kaspersky all prevented capture without blocking the simulators.

Applications that succusfully protected(through preventing capture, user decision or detection of the sample) against the BBC simulator and both the new ones are:
    Quarri Protect on Q
    Softsphere Defensewall
    Trusteer Rapport
    Zemana Antilogger
    Avast IS
    Comodo IS Pro
    Emsisoft AM
    Kaspersky IS 2013

Interestingly, WSA failed both new simulators.
