How much time? And what's the scan speed and ram usage? Any unusual cpu spikes? Feel in drag when watching on-demand videos like youtube?

    1 minute quick scan
Its using cloud , so very very light real time protection.. will feel there is no AV.
But starting up is very slow, taking nearly 1 minute to start:(

    Windows 7 64
    4gb Ram

Ah good to know it's light. I like lightness in AVs. Slow startup is not good. But if everything else is good enough then startup could be compromised. How does it contrast in lightness with your Nod32?

I bet it will. I found Webroot to be plenty good by itself. Which version are you trying?

sandboxie.com Put simply any malware trying to crawl it's way from any internet facing app that you have sandboxed using sandboxie will get trapped and remain inside the sandbox, never touching the actual system and pc. Now when you empty the sandbox the malware along with anything and everything in the sandbox is gone and the app goes back to it's original state before it was sandboxed.

Now isn't that some powerful layer of protection? Give it a go. You'll surely find it a core part of your security setup. Trust me. ;)

The review I read over at PCmag says you should have encountered the toolbar option. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2411838,00.asp

Did you set it to paranoid mode? Have it packed it with OA? The two make EISP. :)

Good Evening ! Hammer...is the toolbar part of the install process? I also have licenses for Norton and Panda Internet Security...and as you know both have very definite toolbar apps...and both are introduced with the install process. If Avira's was introduced I obviously declined it's install during the install process. The only other method was checking if it was included under the extras tab on the Gui interface. Anyhow i'm really happy with it's performance...and not missing the mysterious toolbar. Sincerely...Securon

I tried Emsisoft Emergency Kit and like it. :thumb:
Portable, on-demand only, deletes detected malware, close to zero FP rate - great security addition.
