Good Evening ! I also have Avira 2013 I.S....but didn't encounter having to download and add a toolbar...maybe in the free version. But as Gery stated 2013 is definitely running nimble and quick...no problems encountered so far. Sincerely...Securon

In Avira Premium (paid) you do. I avoided it by choosing custom install.

I have done TONS of web surfing over the years, and have used AVG, Avira, and Avast. And even though I am still fond of Avira, I have had the best protection with Avast. it's just a better product, at least on my XP/SP3 machine.

my license of WSA complete is running out and i am not buying a new one due to expense drop down . It is only Avira for the rest of the year . I gave out the Emsisoft AM and almost everything else . I am tired of installing uninstalling thing. i only have a ZAES license for the 210 coming days and OA SBIE pro and i did gave away my laptop too... with BIS for 2 years . I feel kinda free :D :D :D :D lol

Panda Cloud AV Free + Kingsoft AV Free overkill for my setup?

UPDATE: Not a good idea, my computer lags.. Back to using Kingsoft AV Free only.

Yep merging two full blown AV's can bring on problems. Webroot would be a good option.

OK now using WSA 180days trial with Kingsoft AV Free seems light

    Hopefully they complement each other?

First of all where did you get the 180 days trial? Mind sharing the link? And why not just let WSA take control. You could just sit back and relax. See how light and awesome WSA is? :)

Anyways, afaik the two complement each other pretty nice. But WSA is lighter and stronger imo. ;)

I'd suggest replacing pfw with OA free and adding mbam and sbie to your setup. Now that would make a nice one. ;)
