This lawsuit is going to be dismissed as they can't prove they're injured - and they can't prevail against Microsoft's deep pockets.

I thought the courts had already told patent troll companies which deep, dark lake to jump into not all that long ago? There are enough problems as it is with legitimate companies suing each other over patents. Either way, no, this lawsuit doesn't stand a chance.

Wow, someone patented squared icons! This definitely requires a raise of salary or a promotion for the one who thought this should be patented.

I've read about one of the jurors, in the Apple vs Samsung case, saying prior art doesn't matter (or something like that). With a bit of luck I think I could patent the wheel.

I wonder why this troll waited so long to start litigation when they could have just done it when Windows Phone 7 launched....

I regret to inform you all that I've just patented "Posts" you can all expect heavy litigation.

I should patent UI. This would cover everything from computers and phones to your toothbrush handle. If it allows you to use a device, I own it.

They'll never win, but it's not about winning: I think SurfCast hopes that Microsoft will pay them a little money to go away.

I'm going to patent window designs. Then I'll sue Microsoft for using the symbol of my patented multi-coloured "FeelGood" (TM) window.
