Is there a very basic light weight application to remove tracking cookies? SAS seems to do the job but I'd like something that uses less resources than that.

I do have CCleaner but CC doesn't find what HMP/SAS finds.

Personally, I do not give tracking cookies a second thought, a simple reboot and any and all are gone with Shadow Defender.

When using firefox "clear history when firefox closes" and the addon Betterprivacy will do the trick. No extra software needed then or am I missing something?

You can use Private Browsing mode in your browser.

What is CC missing? Do you have a picture showing the path of where the cookies are being stored? I never find flash cookies or tracking cookies after running CCleaner. Maybe there's a CC setting I've made that I am not remembering. I don't know the particulars about the adobe flash settings but maybe there is a setting to make as well.

Yes, If I already had a copy of SD or was using HD instead of SSD then it wouldn't have been a problem.

I guess that addons like Ghostery or subscriptions to ABP like Easy Privacy can prevent tracking cookies.

Im using SBIE for chrome. So its not a problem.
However for off SBIE browsing I using IE9 (mainly for Amazon or Netflix which doesnt play well with SBIE). I am unwilling to add any extensions to Chrome or IE. I don't want to slow down my browsing experience, especially with Chrome.

As for what HMP finds that CC doesn't here is an example:
    C:\Users\Thinkpadx120e\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\UWCGFQM.txt

There is a bunch more. CC is just not a complete solution but a bare minimum. I want off line dedicated cookie removing app thats lite on resources. SAS would work but it feels massive so I would prefer not to use it.
