Well, I think v4 is more stable among other versions.

If you notice higher memory consumption, check the number of network connections as ekrn allocates certain amount of memory for each.

If you are seeing a high memory usage, generate a dump of ekrn.exe via the Task manager, compress it, upload it to a safe location and PM me the download link.

Thank you, I'm going to check the dumps I've received from several users with our devs. Will let you know about our findings.

I installed this latest v6.0.115.0 Antivirus version, and in two days, so far no problems. Working perfect :)

I don't wanna ask when final version will be published, cause it's never known :)

Just one question: Am i going to need fresh installation when final version publishes, or just program update. Thanks :)

You need to perform a clean install once the final version is released.

Although it shouldn't matter in this case, it's better to uninstall a beta / RC version prior to installing the release version, especially if it was using dedicated beta update servers.

Issues with scans not ended properly upon http connection termination have been fixed in the meantime and the fix will be included in the final v6 (it's the same issue as the one reported by Baltagy).

    Marcos,

Is there another build in the works to be released including the fix above, before the final version? Or will ESET simply release a final build v6 whenever it is ready?

    Regards

V6 has been released in Slovak and Czech with other language versions to follow. Most of them are planned to be released by the beginning of 2013.
