Cheap av programs? You mean these good deals. It's impossible to buy a home license and use it for business no matter where you purchase it.

After several tries and not being able to get BitDefender AV Plus to work correctly, decided to load software I know is compatible on my computer, Emsisoft Anti-Malware 7.0, which is now using BitDefender successfully for one of its engines. I was running the behavior blocker that's in EAM (Mamutu) anyway, along with using Emsisoft Emergency Kit as an on-demand scanner. Seems like a good solution overall.

Were you using Mamutu along side BD? What else were you running along side BD? KIS does not like anything else running with it. All I am running is BDA 2013. I don't need anything else.

I usually prefer free software (Although my current setup are all paid licenses) but there's nothing bad in paying for software, if you feel it's worth the price then buy it.
Developing software is no easy task and it costs companies tons of money so giving them a small reward for their hard work is nothing to be ashamed of. :D
I'm pretty sure all of you love payday. :D :D

KIS? No luck running Kaspersky with BitDefender? I admire you for trying.

Thanks for asking what I was running. Hmmmm, turning off security that might conflict when doing an balky install, I'll keep that in mind.

So how are you liking BitDefender 2013?

I never said I tried KIS with BD. I have enough common sense not to do that. I was saying that KIS prefers to be alone. I'm loving BDA. Very effective av. Just copied and pasted another 30 links. ALL block by the web shield. That's 60/60.

Believe it or not Dark I have tried tons of security throughout my years. Honestly never have faced a false positive that I couldn't easily deal with. Norton never liked Combofix when I downloaded the newest version daily. Mountains out of mole hills most of it. 99% of the software installed on my pc is everyday software. I would love to know what software is being detected as a false positive. I am willing to bet $100 that its not everyday house hold files.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say anything that might have even slightly showed that I don't think you have common sense, especially after all the advice you have given people, including me.

Good point about KIS, I'll keep it alone where it prefers to be.

Thank you for testing BitDefender. I look forward to when you've finished and know whether it is any good or not.

I am fine with it. No need to act like every other Wilders member who is security swap happy. No offense people. Find something you like and stick with it. I have no reason to uninstall BDA 2013 justenough. At work we are running Trend Micro but that is not my choice. When a customer asks me "What should I use for an antivirus?". I reply back "Free go with Avast,AVG,Avira or Panda Cloud. Paid go with Bitdefender,Norton,Kaspersky. Thanks justenough. Kudos right back at you.

Not feeling work tomorrow. Server swapping.

Yeah I know what you mean, some people seem to enjoy trying different security software just to see how they work. I wish I could be like you and say anything that comes to mind, no matter what it looks like to other people.

Really liking EAM 7.0 but think I might drop it and install MSE. I hear that it is good and improving all the time.

    Why'd you wanna drop EAM?
