    If you've been using SafePay with no problem, I'll re-install BitDefender and go to my banking site with an unsandboxed browser and see if SafePay starts up correctly.

    Just a question. Does Eset not have HIPS? Then why use NVT ERF? Also how do you like Rollback RX?

    2nd install of BitDefender AV Plus 2013 and without using Sandboxie this time SafePay still did the same thing as before, messed up my desktop picture and locked up my computer. On the BD forums I saw that some people had problems with SafePay, and one guy fixed it by installing Java Runtime, which I'm not planning to do. In my opinion, BitDefender should let you install just the AV without the extras if you want to, the AV seemed light and according to the tests is good security.

    I used BitDefender 2013 for a day and now I'm back to Nod.

    It looks like nice software but it slowed down my computer. Slow down wasn't big but it was noticeable. Boot time also increased for 5 to 10 seconds.

    Uh, I wish ESET would have discounts like that :doubt:

    im using Nod32 v4 , no HIPS . For me its lighter than v5 .
    No computer freezes. V5 made system hangs when removable media was plugged in.

    Rollback rx is grt:thumb:
    1 min rollback after trying apps , sytem failure or virus infection etc.

    I removed Nod32 v5 and added v6 RC. So far it looks good.

    Awesome................Did you make bootable rescue CD? If you tap the spacebar while booting up it will bring you into rescue mode also. Great feature. Looks like I am getting everyone on the BD train. :D

    But honestly I would not be using it if DownloadCrew wasn't offering such a deal. Still would be using Avast Free. Why wouldn't you buy it? 5 cents/month for top protection is a no brainier.

    @Dave
    How is BD doing with AG there? And what are you using yourself if your sig represents the same setup for two pcs for your kids?

    Good Afternoon ! Back from the Cloud...un-installed Trend Micro I.S.2013...and re-installed Eset S.S.5...in concert with AppGuard...and WSA Essentials. Unfortunately Trend was a pain in the butt in un-installing...I used their uninstaller...Revo's...Windows...and Opswatt...App-remover...I even tried Sys-restore...all to no or partial avail...but after using Revo's Auto Run Tool...I was finally able to re-install my current app configuration. I think a lesson was learn't from this...in fact I know a lesson was learn't. Sincerely...Securon

    Your welcome. I love the BD bashing going on lately. "I bought it and it sucks". Lol. Try before you buy. Basic life lesson.
