Done but 12.50 will not be warned of new 12.10 updates (but 12.10 users will not be bothered with 12.50 false notifications) !

ahh thanks your solution works well for me :thumb:

mrpink: the X in front of the program give me the idea you are using an unsupported MBAM version, X-portable so if it is the case, is not updatde as the original one and sumo can have problem recognize it
But if I'm not wrong (I don't use it) last version is MBMA 1.65.XX

Your problem comes from the fact that you are using a portable version. (.1300 comes from registry, available for non-portable only).

Evolution logged there : http://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/view.php?id=1772 in order to deal with your issue.

I see that some SUMO installers come with relevant knowledge spyware.
    Any particular reason for this.?
Im afraid i will not install any software from a company that associates with this spyware. There is absolutely no reason why this junk has to be bundled with the program.
Thumbs down from me to SUMO for that reason.:thumbd:

Actually, RelevantKnowledge is just one of many unnecessary "add-ons" that the program tries to shove in the user's face.
In fact this is the program with the most crapware I've seen, by far. Well, AudioGrail also, but it's by the same developer. Compared to these two programs every other program with just one toolbar seems as innocent and selfless as Mother Teresa.

Portable Sumo have not crapware and there is a installer version without crapware too, is just been able to read, understand and click the correct download version, instead of repeat 100 times the same question

The real Bethoven was deaf at the end of his life, hoping it was not blind too I attach the visual explaination

excuse me one moment but it is not spamming when an installer is attempting to download a known spyware with it .If there is such an attempt then people have the right to question the whole ethical structure of the aforementioned installer and the software company involved.

It is a perfectly valid inquiry and deserves to be answered fully.Im very sorry if you do not like this but i like to be cautious with everything that i may or may not download and it is this blind downloading and installing which is causing the majority of malware issues.I exercise the right to question the ethics of a software company which knowingly runs installers that have a known and well publicised spyware bundled in.

I do not allow fanboyism to cloud my better judgement on this issue.I resent the accusation of trolling and spamming merely because my opinion does not agree with yours. Many thousands of potential users of this program will blindly download and install without looking at the website correctly and before you know it they are infected with a spyware. The company involved must realise this and yet they persist with bundling this crap.

Im a very great believer in freedom of speech and thought and i have exercised this and if it is not welcome then the spirit of democracy has well and truly been destroyed.
    Regards.:thumb: :thumb:

Thank you everyone for posting your feedback.

Even **negative"** feedback is appreciated by the developper (myself) in order to make my products better.

As Romagnolo1973 clearly recalled, we need sponsors to survive but all of them are optionnal and can be removed independantly from our products.

Concerning our download page, we are completely re-designing our web site and i'm try to make it more self-explanatory.
Here is an "unofficial draft" of what it will look like... Tell me if it is better or not ! (i'll add a section with meaning of each icon) : http://kcsoftwares.com/index2.php?download

No. You are acting as a noble gentleman troll, but that doesn't mean that you can hope for people giving you any leeway. Well, of course you can hope ... :D

    ... and ...

... WOW and that from a total Commodo-Fanboy that might even wear jammies of his favorite brand?! :D

You deserving anything else than being called what you are is a joke, right? ;)

    :argh:

You have no *own* judgement! That is the sad, sad truth about you! I told you a few days before already what it is you are doing. You came here, read a few things and now your are repeating it over and over wherever you find an empty space! - You even admitted that (talking about things you don't even tested!) and so now we know! - Your are fooling only yourself. It is very painful to watch.

You are not testing things and having THEN an opinion (like normal people), you read (general) stuff and then blabber about it as if you were an expert! But since your denseness is way to obvious that doesn't really work, a troll has to be quite intelligent after all, you know? - No you don't, i know!

    :argh: :argh: :argh:

You know, being a forum troll is an art that involves making it difficult for others to detect you! - You can't just go out there and cry: "I am a very stupid and untalented troll, please let me do my work!" :D

And you should stop always giving yourself thumbs, that makes you a complete fool every time and remember .. you want to be undetected else you are busted! :D

Well, good luck on other forums. :D

Regarding SUMO - it's a very good software that gives you enough links (if you can read!!! - Not everyone is Beethoven, thank god! :D) without anything else than the very good update checker. I use the zip-version to update, we are talking again about a non-problem. Thanks to the troll.

It takes one to know one lol.(Thats a saying we have here in england)
I do believe you are employing stalking techniques now. After that complete rant you decide to get to the point at the end.

It is YOU that is the troll .And you belong under a bridge.(i presume you have read the brothers grimmo_O).

Yes i can read very well thank you.I can certainly read trolls like you also!!!
Yes there was only one beethoven and his like the world will never see again.
Its such a pity that one of his countrymen like you has to be so unfriendly and patronising.I should be honoured really to converse with someone of such high stature as yourself.Your arrogance and conceitedness will be your downfall im afraid to say.

How can someone like you who apparently appreciates bach be such a pain?
You seem to be on some sort of crusade to discredit me and it is very unfortunate you feel this way.only by mere typed words you have passed sentance upon me which can hardly be fair.

You dont even know me and yet you persist with this constant badgering when something is not of your own opinion. Now you have the nerve to stalk me on this very forum.I see no reason for your obsession and it is quite upsetting to have you behave in such a fashion.

Hope the gods will be kind to you sir.:D

I do that because I HATE it when someone verbally ~ Snipped as per TOS ~ on work of others even if he admitted (in this thread!) never having tested it. - Such are very, very stupid people to me or trolls or in this case: both. *puppy*

And I use SUMo for years and know it very well, so the troll picked - again :D - the wrong (or right :D) software to badmouth in his lame troll-attempt! :p

It is very good as it is, it is not at all unstable (another BS from the clown!) and if you make it even better I will consider to pay money for it. I don't do that very often (paying for software), but I use your software together with 2 other programs almost every day. And SMUo is finding much more updates, even if some of them seem to be closed (not available) beta versions. I don't care, it's a big help to me staying up-to-date. :thumb:

Since you asked I am now going to (trying to ;)) ignore the troll in this thread, not even giving him a little fish! :D
