    Hi,

We've noticed that all of our PC's with ESET Endpoint Anti-Virus are trying to contact ESET's servers on port 80, even thou we have configured then to update and send feedback to our ERA Server.

Every thing is working correctly, just seems very strange!

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Dan

Thanks for the reply, it would appear the clients are trying to connect to the online reputation database for the Live Grid services.

Surely this is very inefficient and generally not allowed through firewalls in large organisations.

Is there a way to perform this through ERAS?

    Regards,

    Dan

    Hello,

this feature is not implemented in current version of ERA.

You could use proxy to re-route this requests via single point in your company.

    Hi P_R_,

Using our proxy server is the workaround I have now implemented.

Is this something that is on the roadmap for ERA? If not can it be added to the wish list?

    Regards,

    Daniel

    Hello,

I will check it on our wish list, probably someone has already added it.
    If no I will.

    Regards,
    P.R.
