Testing it out now it seems pretty good but couple things noted. No Safari Browser added Not sure if its supoorted for windows any longer but some still may use it. Also no way to custom add applications like EMET and For Example, I use Dragon Browser that is chrome based but I cant protect it if I cant add it.Hopefully this will change as it matures.

The shields: office, acrobat, vlc... are disabled right?
Will they be enable in future versions?
Or the "free" version will only protect the browsers, java and flash?

Yes, the extra protection for these other vulnerable programs will only be in the future paid version.

Any particular reason why it keeps adding itself on startup? And is there a way to disable this? Through the program itself, i mean

There browser and other certain shields come standard in ExploitShield Browser Edition. In addition certain other shields (Adobe, VLC, Quicktime, etc. are also loaded if for exa PDF, AVI, MP4 are opened from within the browser.

The only reason for it to add itself on startup every time is because something else is disabling or deleting the startup entry it previously created. Which OS are you using?

Hey I just tested you're program and I love it! Tried it against the new java exploit and against the older java_rhino exploit found in metasploit and it blocked both exploits flawlessly! I will make a video and post in on youtube it's pretty cool :D

This is a great effective and lightweight program that adds a very important layer of defense. Running this along side Panda cloud with no problems.

I noticed after I installed ExploitShield, protection was off and I needed to click "Start Protection." Is this the normal operation of the program?
    Thanks.

No that is not normal. It should start automatically after install.
Do you have any other security software which may be preventing ES from executing? If so check their logs to see if you can pinpoint who it is.
Also take into consideration the known issues (posted on our forum). This beta only works correctly under admin user accounts.

1 little bug. If you right-click the tray icon and click on 'stop' it will stop the protection. Problem is that when u open the GUI it still states 'running' instead of 'stopped'.

True, thanks for reporting. It only seems to happen if you use the Start/Stop from the traybar icon. If you do it from within the GUI then it refreshes the color label correctly. Will post it under known issues for future fix. Thanks again.

PS: please report bugs on our forum under the "Product Issues" sub-forum.

I am an admin user. I am running Webroot SecureAnywhere which doesn't seem to be blocking ExploitShield. I will check with Webroot.

The problem is not Webroot nor Admuncher since I disabled both of them prior to ExploitShield installation.
I am running Net Framework 4 Client Profile. Is that sufficient?
    Thanks.

I think that not supporting Safari will help these people to realize how vulnerable they are using the browser and move to chrome or something. FYI I am referring to only the Windows version of Safari.
